Dhaka University A Unit Information
A total of 1,851 vacant seats will be filled in different faculties of Dhaka University. Students who have passed the Dhaka University A Unit Admission Test will have the opportunity to be admitted in this vacant seat of a total of ten faculties. These are the faculties which the students who have passed the admission test of A unit will get the opportunity of admission.

A Unit Admission Application and Minimum Qualification
The application process for admission in the institutes under the A unit of Dhaka University will continue from 4 pm on 20 April 2022 to 11:59 pm on 10 May 2022. Students will be able to apply from the website https / admission.eis.du.ac.bd within the stipulated time. The application has to be completed according to the prescribed procedure along with all the personal information of the student. At the time of application, the name of the departmental city willing to take the test must be mentioned. And the admission application fee must be paid immediately. The information submitted in the application fee should be known from the website.
In order to be admitted in Unit A, the student must have passed the secondary or equivalent from 2018 to 2019 and the HSC or higher secondary examination of 2021 from the science department. Both SSC and HSC exams must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 including the fourth subject and a total GPA of at least 6.00.
A Unit Admission Test Process
All the students seeking admission in A unit of Dhaka University have to participate in the admission test. Unit A admission test will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 11 am. The total time of the test is 1 hour 30 minutes. Admission test number 100 will be held. There will be MCQ number 60 and descriptive question number 40. Students are allotted 45 minutes for MCQ exam and 45 minutes for descriptive exam.
Each candidate must answer questions in a total of four subjects, including physics and chemistry. Total allotment number for each subject is 25. Out of which 15 marks have been fixed for MCQ part and 10 marks for descriptive part. Only the pass number 24 in the MCQ part of the admission test and the number 24 mark in the MCQ test will be evaluated. Out of the candidates who have passed the MCQ examination, the answer sheets of the written examination will be evaluated at least five times for the total seats of the committee.

A Unit Merit Score and Merit Rank
The merit list will be made in the order of merit score of the students on the basis of total 120 marks. Out of which admission test of 100 marks will be taken and the remaining 20 marks will be given to the students as per GPA. The results prepared on the basis of MIDAS will be published within 4 weeks of the admission test through the admission website of Dhaka University. Minimum Qualification for Admission in Different Departments
In order to get admission in different subjects of different faculties of A unit, the student must get minimum marks in the admission test. Must also obtain minimum grade in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination. If both the conditions are not met then the student will not be eligible for admission in the specific subject. A Unit Admission Quota Information
If you want to be admitted in the quota for admission in any department of Dhaka University, you must give the relevant cut peak while applying online and only those who have passed the admission test will be able to apply for the quota after publishing the results.
