JU Admission Apply Eligibility
In order to apply for admission in Jahangirnagar University, the student must have completed the minimum qualification. Jahangirnagar University conducts examinations in a total of ten units. Eligibility for admission against each unit is mentioned below.
- To apply for any one of the D Units of Jahangirnagar University, the student must pass the SSC or equivalent examination in 2018 or later and the Higher Secondary Examination in 2020 or 2021.
- Total GPA including optional subjects in secondary and higher secondary examinations will be calculated.
- Students with the required qualifications can apply to any unit.
Unit A (Faculty of Mathematics and Physics): Must have GPA 4.00 in secondary and higher secondary examinations.
Unit B (Faculty of Sociology): Must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 from both Science, Humanities and Business.
C Unit (Faculty of Arts and Humanities): Must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in both Science, Humanities and Business.
C1 Unit (Department of Drama and Drama Theory and Department of Fine Arts): Minimum GPA 3.25 for Drama and Drama Theory Department and minimum GPA 3.50 for Department of Fine Arts in Secondary and Higher Secondary Examinations.
Unit D (Faculty of Biology): Must have a minimum GPA of 4.00 from both Science, Humanities and Business.
Unit E (Faculty of Business Studies): Must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in both humanities and business.
F Unit (Faculty of Law): Must have GPA 4.00 in secondary and higher secondary examinations.
G Unit (Institute of Business Administration-IBA): Must have GPA 4.00 in secondary and higher secondary examinations.
H Unit (Institute of Information Technology-ICT): Must have GPA 4.00 in secondary and higher secondary examinations.

Jahangirnagar University Admission Exam Mark Distribution
The standard and time of admission test of Jahangirnagar University has been reduced from last 2020-2021. According to the new rules, MCQ test of 60 marks will be taken for each unit. Test time 40 minutes. However, additional 5 minutes will be provided for filling up the OMR sheet. The distribution is specified separately for each unit.

JU Admission Test Pass Number
If you want to pass the unit based admission test of Jahangirnagar University, you have to get the following number.
- In the Bangla section of C unit, the pass number in the admission test is 50 percent and the English part is at least 40 percent.
- For admission in English department, English part is required to get minimum 50 percent marks.
- For admission in the Department of International Relations, the student has to get minimum 80 percent international marks.
- Admission in the Department of Journalism and Media Studies, one has to get a minimum of 50% marks in both Bengali and English examinations.
- For admission in the law and justice department of F unit, 50 percent marks have to be obtained separately and in both parts.
