The word ‘barat’ means liberation and ‘shab’ means night. Therefore ‘Shob-e-Barat ’ means the night of liberation. On this night, Allah calls people to seek relief from poverty, disease, grief and danger, and if they ask Him, He delivers from them, so this night is called Shob-e-Barat or the night of liberation. How many fasts of Shob-e-Barat ?

অর্থাৎ, আল্লাহ পাক এই রাতে প্রথম আসমানে চলে আসেন।
অর্থাৎ, আল্লাহ পাক বান্দার খুব কাছে চলে আসেন এবং মানুষকে ডেকে ডেকে বলতে থাকেনঃ তোমরা কেউ পাপী আছ, আমার কাছে মাফ চাইবে, আমি তাকে মাফ করে দিব। তোমাদের কেউ রিযিক চাওয়ার আছে, আমার কাছে রিযিক চাইবে, আমি তাকে রিযিক দান করব। তোমাদের কেউ অসুস্থ আছ, রোগ- শোকগ্রস্ত আছ, আমার কাছে রোগ থেকে মুক্তি চাইবে, আমি তাকে মুক্তি দিয়ে দিব।
In this way, Allah (swt) keeps mentioning one thing and saying: If you want such and such, I will give it to you. If you want something like that, I will give it to you. In this way, by mentioning one thing, God keeps on asking for Pak. In the morning, until Sadeq, that is, before the time of Fajr, Allah Pak mentions various things and asks people to call and ask for Dua.
What is Shob-e-Barat and why?
Of all the things that Allah Ta’ala has said to ask or supplicate on this night, the first is to ask for forgiveness. Because asking for forgiveness from people is the biggest request, getting forgiveness is the biggest getting in human life. Shob-e-Barat is the night of asking for everything, but the most important thing is asking for forgiveness. In the eyes of Islam, the biggest request is to ask for forgiveness, the biggest thing is to get forgiveness. That is why on this night Allah Pak says to seek liberation from sins first. At the same time, he also said that he wanted to get rid of poverty, to get rid of disease and grief, to get rid of dangers. Acts of Shob-e-Barat

অর্থাৎ, নফল ইবাদত দ্বারা বান্দা আমার নৈকট্য অর্জন করে অর্থাৎ আমার খুব কাছের মানুষ হয়ে যায়। এমনকি আমার ভালবাসার পাত্র হয়ে যায়। তাকে আমি ভালবাসতে শুরু করি। তখন সে যা চায় তাকে তাই দেই, যখন আমাকে তার ডাকে সাড়া দেই।
Therefore, the more supererogatory prayers are offered, the more he will be able to attain the love of Allah Pak, the more he will become a person close to Allah Pak. Therefore, in order to attain nearness to Allah, one has to perform more and more supererogatory prayers in order to be closer to Allah. When I become a person close to Allah through Nafl Salat, then Allah Pak will fulfill all my desires. The desires of your people are not kept unfulfilled. Therefore, before asking Allah, special mention has been made of supererogatory prayers. Other supererogatory acts of worship can be performed along with the supererogatory prayers. Importance and virtue of Shob-e-Barat
One should keep in mind about the supererogatory prayers, from the time of Isha to the time of Sadeq in the morning, that is, until the last time of Sehri, the number of supererogatory prayers in it is called Tahajjud. Therefore, whatever naafil prayers we perform on this night, we can perform it with the intention of tahajjud, we can also perform it with the intention of naafil.
