The word ‘Shob-e-Qadr’ is Persian. Its Arabic name is ‘Lailatul Qadr’. The words Shab and Lailat mean night. And the word Kadar means greatness and honor. It is called Shob-e-Qadr or Lailatul Qadr because of the greatness and honor of this night. Or the word Qadr means destiny and order. This night is called Shob-e-Qadr or Lailatul Qadr because the destiny of the next year is written on this night (ie, it is copied from Lohe Mahfuz and handed over to the concerned angels). বাংলায় পড়ুন

Importance of Lailatul Qadr or Shob-e-Qadr
২৭শে রাতই শবে কদর হবে তার কোন গ্যারান্টি নেই। হাদীছে রাসূল (সাঃ) বলেছেনঃ
تحروا ليلة القدر في الوتر من العشر الأواخر من رمضان . (بخاری) অর্থাৎ, তোমরা রমযানের শেষ দশকের বেজোড় রাত্রগুলোতে শবে কদর তালাশ কর।
That is why Shob-e-Qadr can be celebrated on any odd night in the last decade of Ramadan. Among the odd nights, the 26th night is also an odd night. So the 26th night and Shob-e-Qadr is a special potential night.
On which night Shob-e-Qadr, the Prophet (peace be upon him) was coming to the mosque from his hujra to specify it, he was forgotten in the middle. When you come to the mosque, I don’t remember any night Shob-e-Qadr. Maybe our interest in God, our desire to see victory, whether we are ready to work a little to get such a great night of virtue. So within a few nights Shob-e-Qadr has been rotated, any night can be, 21st night can be, 23rd night can be 25th, 26th or 29th night. So the Prophet (peace be upon him) said that in all the odd nights you should seek Shob-e-Qadr. Seek, that is, in all these odd nights, you have to do all the work of worship and supplication to get Shob-e-Qadr. All that is required to be done in order to attain the virtue of Shob-e-Qadr is to be done equally on all nights.
Shob-e-Qadr Fajilat, Dua and Amal
শবে কদরের তিনটা ফযীলত রয়েছে। একটা ফযীলত কুরআনের আয়াতে বলা হয়েছে :
ليلة القدر خير من ألف شهر
অর্থাৎ, শবে কদর হাজার মাসের চেয়েও শ্রেষ্ঠ।
If you worship in a thousand months, you will get as many blessings and dignity as you get. In this way, Allah has given us many opportunities to advance in pure life. The previous ummahs lived for 500 years, thousands of years. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) once narrated to the Sahaabah that a man from the Children of Israel had spent 500 years in Jihad and another had worshiped Allaah for a thousand years. Upon hearing this, the Companions started hurrying, a pain arose in them that then we will not get so much life, we will not get the opportunity to worship so much. We will then fall behind other nations. Then this verse of the Qur’an was revealed that Allah, the Exalted, has given you one night in Ramadan every year, and if you worship one night, you will get more than a thousand months. In a thousand months there are 63 years and 4 months. In this way, if one gets 12 Shob-e-Qadr in one’s life, then worship will be equal to one thousand years, but it will be more than that. In this way we have been given the opportunity to grow faster than the people of the previous era with less effort. This is one of the virtues of Shob-e-Qadr.
শবে কদরের আরেকটা ফযীলত হাদীছে বর্ণিত হয়েছে :
من قام ليلة القدر إيمانا واحتسابا ، غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه . (متفق عليه)
অর্থাৎ, শবে কদরে ঈমানের সাথে ও ছওয়াব অর্জন করার নিয়তে যে ব্যক্তি ইবাদত করবে, তার পিছনের সমস্ত গোনাহ মাফ করে দেয়া হবে। এটা অনেক বড় ফযীলতের কথা। আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা পেয়ে যাওয়া জীবনের অনেক বড় পাওয়া।
শবে কদরের আর একটা ফজিলত হাদীছে বলা হয়েছেঃ
إذا كان ليلة القدر نزل جبريل في كبكبة من الملائكة يصلون على كل قائم أو قاعد يذكر الله عز وجل . (رواه البيهقي في شعب الایمان)
অর্থাৎ, যখন শবে কদর হয়, তখন জিব্রাঈল (আঃ) তাঁর বাহিনীসহ অর্থাৎ, তার অধীনস্ত ফেরেশতাসহ দলবলে সারা দুনিয়ায় ঘুরতে থাকেন। আর যারা এই রাতে ইবাদত করে ও যিকির-আযকার করে তাদের জন্য রহমতের দু’আ করতে থাকেন।
Prayers and Deeds of Shob-e-Qadr or Lailatul Qadr
It was understood that worshiping on this night is a judgment of God’s mercy. For these three virtues we are told to do three deeds.
There are two acts which are mentioned in this hadith, namely, praying and remembrance.Namaz means special prayers. Therefore, in order to get the virtue of Qadr, one has to perform Nafl Prayer. The number of nafls that will be recited from Isha to Sadeq in the morning can also be called nafl, tahajjud. So in order to get the virtue of this night, what should we pray? We can also read with the intention of nafl, we can also read with the intention of tahajjud. It is not necessary to talk about the prayer of Qadr.
What is the date of Shob-e-Qadr 2022?
It is better to recite Nafl in two rak’ats. So I will continue to recite Nafl or Tahajjud for two rak’ats. I can recite with any surah, there is no obligation of any surah. There is no specific surah obligation in reciting Nafl tonight. Nafl namaya very achan. The prayer of Shob-e-Qadr is also supererogatory. I can read with any surah. At one time our society lacked a reliable book of masala-masail. Then Maqsoodulmu’minin, Neyamul Quran came out, so these became known to the people as the book of Masael. But there are many mistakes in these books. There is masala. It is said in such a book that one should perform the prayer of Qadr, recite so many rak’ats and recite such and such a surah. These are wrong masalas.
Deen has been complicated by these wrong masalas to the people. Many mothers and sisters think that it is so complicated that they should recite the Qadr prayer, how many Surahs should be recited, how many rak’ats should be recited? I don’t know anything about these. In this way, they have considered the prayer of Qadr as complicated. But the matter is not complicated but calm. However, one of the acts on the occasion of Shob-e-Qadr is Nafl Namaz. Another is to do dhikr. Which can be understood from one of the above hadith. What is remembrance? Zikr is to recite Subhanallah Al-Hamdu Lillah, La-Ilaha Illallah Allah Akbar etc.
Recitation of the Qur’an is also a remembrance. And the Qur’an has a special relationship with the night of Qadr. Because the Qur’an was first revealed on the night of Qadr. Therefore, the recitation of the Qur’an in a special way can be included in the dhikr-azkar that will take place on this night.
Prayers of Lailatul Qadr
শবে কদরের তৃতীয় আমল হল দু’আ করা। দু’আর মধ্যে বিশেষ ভাবে ক্ষমার দু’আ চাইতে হবে। হযরত আয়েশা (রাযিঃ) রাসূল (সাঃ) কে জিজ্ঞাসা করেছিলেন :
؟ أرأيت إن علمت أي ليلة ليلة القدر ماذا أقول فيها
অর্থাৎ, হযরত আয়েশা (রাযিঃ) রাসূল (সাঃ) কে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন আমাকে বলুন যদি আমি জানতে পারি শবে কদর কোন রাত, তাহলে আমি কি বলব অর্থাৎ কি দু’আ চাইব ? রাসুল (সাঃ) বললেন তুমি বলবেঃ
اللهم انك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عنى . (ابن ماجة، ترمذی) رارت سے روند و در
অর্থাৎ, হে আল্লাহ! তুমি বড়ই ক্ষমাশীল, ক্ষমা করতে তুমি ভালবাস, তাই আমাকে ক্ষমা করে দাও।
এটা হল এই রাতের বিশেষ আমল, যা রাসূল (সাঃ) শিক্ষা দিলেন সেটা হল আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা চাওয়া।
There are so many virtues in Islam and so many prayers to be accepted. There are special moments, it can be seen that the Shari’ah has asked us to ask for forgiveness in all these times and in all these moments. Because getting forgiveness is the greatest human achievement. If I don’t get anything, just get forgiveness from Allah, then I will succeed. On the other hand, I got a lot, I got health, I got looks, I got cars and houses, I got wealth, I got famous and expensive relatives, I got respect, I got a lot of status, but I was not forgiven, then nothing happened to me, then I failed, my life failed. Therefore, forgiveness is the greatest reward. Apologizing is the biggest apology. So in the big nights, in the big times, we have been asked to make this big dua.
Anything else we can ask, we have to ask Allah for everything. It has been narrated that you should ask Allah for everything. Even if the laces of your shoes are torn, ask Allah for it. Thus everything has been asked to be sought from Allah. God loves to ask. So Allah is more pleased with what is asked of Him. He is not like the people of the world, we get annoyed whenever we want, we get annoyed as much as people want. And the more God is asked, the more God loves.
Prayers of Shob-e-Qadr
Anyway, three acts tonight
(1) Praying,
(2) Zikr, reciting in a special way,
(3) Praying to Allah, especially for forgiveness. For one’s own forgiveness, for all people, also for those who live in the world, those who have passed away, especially those who have passed away, such as parents, relatives, for their forgiveness, for the forgiveness of all.
In order to get the three virtues of Shob-e-Qadr, we continue to do the above three deeds.
